L'UPS - Ufficio di Promozione Sociale risponde alle esigenze dei cittadini di avere informazioni complete in merito ai loro diritti, alle prestazioni, alle modalità di accesso ai servizi. Permette di conoscere le risorse del territorio necessarie per affrontare le esigenze personali e familiari durante le varie fasi della vita.

Funzioni:
Prima accoglienza: rappresenta il primo contatto con il cittadino;
Informazione: presentazione al cittadino circa le opportunità, le condizioni di accesso e le modalità di fruizione dei servizi presenti sul territorio;
Orientamento e accompagnamento: valutazione della domanda e dei bisogni del cittadino ed invio ai servizi competenti;
Prestazioni di primo intervento: organizzazione preventiva e gestione di situazioni urgenti non rinviabili.
